Back in 2010 it received high reviews, but in 2019 they're a lot lower. I skimmed them, but the general consensus seems to be that in 2019 the gameplay is just dated. Just look at the reviews for Heavy Rain (from 2010) and the current reviews for the PC version. ![]() ![]() While not as story based and not tethered to decision making as much they will have better gameplay than what is essentially a QTE game with an interactive story. Interactive story type games certainly have their market, but since 2010 many more action RPGs (like Mass Effect, Witcher) have become popular. I have a feeling the games just haven't aged well. Their value probably wasn't too high and Sony probably didn't see them as being very relevant going forward. ![]() Heavy Rain seemed to be very popular when it came out, but their follow ups received mixed reception.
